About the Position

Would you like to help develop our newly renovated short-term unit? We are now looking for a nurse who wants to be part of an exciting development of person-centered care in the unit.

The work as a nurse with us involves independent work with many contact fields with different professions such as doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care planning teams, and nursing staff. We would like you as a nurse to have experience with person-centered working methods. You enjoy collaborating and being the connecting link between the patient, relatives, and others in the team for the best possible care, where all resources are needed.

At the municipality's short-term accommodation, two nurses work with shared patient responsibility. The short-term accommodation mainly hosts patients who have a need for health care, rehabilitation, and/or nursing, which for various reasons cannot be met in the patient's home.

In addition to your closest nursing colleague, you will work in a team consisting of 3-6 nurses. Every day, nurses responsible for different geographical areas gather in the same place, which means a great collegial collaboration even within the nursing group.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with broad experience in healthcare and a genuine interest in elderly care. If you have further education in geriatrics, psychiatry, dementia care, or open health and medical care, it is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on the personal qualities of the applicants. It is important that you appreciate contacts with patients, relatives, and colleagues, as well as different professions, both internally and externally.

Since driving is part of the job, you need to have a B driver's license.

About the Employment

You will work Monday-Friday 38.15 hours/week.
